GILI MIMPANG – Candi Dasa
This is one of the popular dive site for big fish, current, mola-mola/sunfish and reef sharks. White tip reef sharks often show-up in here.
The three rocks that sticking out above the surface is where the Eagle usually perched and nest on it and some people also call this site eagle island.
Sloppy white sandy bottom lead the divers in to the vertical wall. End of the wall then you will find the pristine reef on the plateau where usually divers make safety stop.
The current here can be strong too and even some times down current. Need to be an advance divers or higher level to dive here.
