Nusa Penida is the only region in Bali where you can regularly see Manta Rays all year round and Oceanic Sunfish (Mola-mola) – mainly between July to October. Nusa Penida is also home to over 500 species of reef fish, corals, and pelagic creatures including Thresher sharks, white tip reef sharks, eagle rays, and even Dolphins! blue-spotted stingrays, lionfish, octopus, moray eels, scorpionfish, soft corals, clownfish, butterflyfish, barracuda, trevally, snappers, sea turtles, pufferfish and there are a lot more to see!
The Badung strait separates the three Nusa island and Bali. Nusa Lembongan is the first island you will see from Bali, the smallest island is Nusa Ceningan where is not common for divers, and the biggest island is Nusa Penida where most the dive sites are found.
This islands contains an inexhaustible number of dive sites for drift diving and corals reef that are in magnificent health. Cold thermoclines rising from the deep ranging from 17-20 “C/62-68”F. Preserve the coral reef by clearing away particles that might obstruct sunlight and bring nutrients to nourish the reef, and also a good chance to see the iconic creature in the area Oceanic Sunfish – Mola-mola.
Program of the day
We will pick you up in the morning and take you to the dive center for the administration / direct to the dive sites, and drop you back to your hotel in the afternoon when the activity has been done.
Dive sites chosen when you make the booking following the price of the sites or decided by you and your dive Guide/Instructor on site due to the environment weather condition or appropriate for diver experience level.
